I have been thinking about blogging for many weeks but I have been timid about getting started! Then I thought: "the only way to get started is to start!" So here I am!
So often, when I am reading or praying, or just talking with the Sisters, I think of something that is so wonderful I want to share it. I think blogging just might be the way to do that. Also, it is a way for me to keep in touch about all the happenings in our community. As the name of this blog suggests, I trust that what I post here will be a 'hopeful sign" for you. Hope is the charism of our community, the Sisters of Jesus Our Hope. (www.sistersofjesusourhope.org)
And Hope, as we know, is found only in Jesus Christ. He is risen and He is alive! Therefore, He is the reason we have hope in a world that is beset with darkness and confusion and violence and fear. Together, let us keep our eyes on Him. Why? Because He is the greatest of all Hope-full Signs!!
