A momentous event!

Excitement mounts as the world prepares to celebrate the canonization of Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II.  There are so many articles about our two beloved Popes, especially on the website of the National Catholic Register and at http://catholic.org/

As best we can tell the canonization will be broadcast live on EWTN-TV on Sunday (4/27) beginning at 3:30 a.m. and will be re-broadcast on EWTN at 7 p.m. This later broadcast time allows for many to attend Holy Hours scheduled for 3 p.m. on this Divine Mercy Sunday.  This is an historical event and it would be so sad to miss it.

In the meantime, Pope Francis has resumed his daily homilies from the Domus Sanctae Marthae and here is a link to his homily this morning.  It is a marvelous homily and I really encourage you to read it.

In the meantime as we say here at home, get your heart ready for Sunday.  Gather your prayer intentions and bring them to our two new saints.  There is never a shortage of miracles where God is concerned!
