A really, really special story

It’s a rainy day on the East Coast – a day to keep our eyes glued on the Son!

Here is an item that should put a smile on your face.

One of our Sisters teaches second grade in her parish Catechetical program. This year the children are receiving First Penance and First Holy Communion so they are studying the Ten Commandments (in preparation for their first confession) and the Sacraments beginning with Baptism. This week one of the children told her mother she wanted to write a letter to Sister. Below is an excerpt from the letter:

God is someone who helps people. When people get baptised God gives them a white soul. And washes away Original sin. You alwes half to follow the ten commandmints. God got everyone to get baptized. So everyones soul does not have Originle sin… You should realy, realy, realy, realy, realy, realy, realy love God. And follow the ten commandmints.

Do you think she learned the lesson? Do YOU realy, realy, realy, love God? Do YOU follow the ten commandmints? If you really want to read another lovely story about God’s love click on http://www.catholic.org/hf/faith/story.php?id=34710
