May we live in Him forever!

This past Sunday the Church celebrated the solemn Feast of Christ the King. The Feast gathers up all the mysteries of our Catholic Faith into one magnificent mystery of who Jesus is - He is our King! And if we have professed our faith in him, His kingdom is within us! (See http://enlargingtheheart.wordpress.com/2009/11/22/origen-adamantius-the-kingdom-of-god-is-within-us/

On the feast of Christ the King several writers highlighted the faith and martyrdom of Blessed Miguel Augustin Pro whose feast day is tomorrow, November 23. As he was executed in Mexico in 1927 for being a Catholic priest, he died exclaiming for all to hear "Viva Cristo Rey!" "Long Live Christ the King" !

Here is an excellent article on Blessed Miguel and on the feast of Christ the King. Perhaps you could cut and paste it onto a WORD document and meditate on it this week as we celebrate Blessed Miguel's feast day and as we prepare our hearts for the joyful season of Advent which begins this Sunday (November 28). http://catholic.org/hf/faith/story.php?id=39214

Blessed Miguel pray for us!
