An important time of prayer

Tomorrow, September 29, EWTN begins its Novena to the MOTHER OF GOD For the Nation.   This is a very important time of prayer for so much that is happening in our country.  I encourage you to visit EWTN's web site: http://www.ewtn.com/ and download the prayers for the novena.  It is fairly long but if you print in draft form it should print quickly.  Father Frederick L. Miller,  Professor of Systematic Theology at Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD and a good friend of our community has written the prayers for the novena.

The Novena will be prayed each day at 8 a.m. on the station.  The web site will also provide the schedule.  If you cannot or do not want to print out the prayers perhaps you would have the time to pray with thousands around the world by tuning into the station.  Or, use your favorite prayer to the Blessed Mother for the same intention.  Our Blessed Mother under her title of the Immaculate Conception is the patronness of the United States.  Her intercession with her Son is our only hope for this election and for religious freedom in our country.

May the Lord bless you, and bless our Country.
